Balance Card - The Cup

I'm done with the March One Card Draw! It took me quite a while, but I wanted to devote the time for each person to do it right (there was a point where I spent half an hour and only got seven people done!). Also, I had some Stuff happen that I had to deal with before I had the heart to do the work. I had four pages of requests, and if there was a theme there I'm not sure what it was... I think it's spring, and in spring we think of changes and growth, and so we saw lots of Rivers and Saplings and Wombs.

The thumbnail up there is of the painting I did for elisem, which she kindly allowed me to post. It's from a recent five-card reading, but this seemed like a good place to show it!

Next month's One Card Draw will be near the end of the month. If you want a full five-card draw we can discuss scheduling those now but I won't be available to do them until the week after next. Card paintings are also available!

And that's it for March! Thanks so much to my generous donors. Your kindness is truly humbling and I strive to be worthy of it. And thank you to all who participated by asking for cards (and for being patient with me while I drew them). It's good to be of service.

Since the way the One Card Draw is working isn't working very well, I thought I'd do something completely different for February. Next Monday evening, I'm going to have a one hour One Card Draw. There will be no sponsors this time. Instead, I'll just throw open the window and if you feel like donating you can. If you don't, that's fine too. There won't be any held cards: if you don't make it, you don't make it.

We'll see if a quick one-hour window can be done more often, and if I get any donations. I figure a two hour window takes me ten to twelve hours to do... maybe a one hour window will be easier!

Some reminders before I get swamped by holiday preparations:

My traditional Big Sale of the year, the Three Kings Day Sale, takes place after Christmas from December 26th to January 6th. This year instead of a special page on Stardancer I'm going to post the details here on my Livejournal... it'll be fun!

Also, the poll for when to have my next One Card Draw was pretty even, leaning a little towards New Year's Day. So the next One Card Draw will be January 1st, 2009 and the Donation Post for that will go up next Monday.

I'll be posting my Christmas image later this evening in time for Noche Buena (Christmas Eve)... hopefully some of you will still be here to see it! :)
