Monday's Admonishment...

I know you'll be eagerly anticipating this break in character!

Hmm... that means some sort of soul-shredding sacrifice, a great fall from grace, lesbian slave girls, fwoosh, star acadamies and their tuitions...

(ducking)

I admit that I've developed crushes on both the Calligrapher and Servant of Shame, but it's more like the crushes kids develop for their teachers. It's not sexual, it's just... they're.. dreamy?

You know what? I kinda take that back. Shame is the Top of just about every bottom's dreams, and the Calligrapher is a manifestation of a "warm fuzzy" feeling. I am certain that the aforementioned pr0n will help me relate to the Ai-Naidar even more.

You will definitely like Monday's then. *wiggle*

As an aside (eyeing your icon set), that was a wonderful, wonderful movie.

I know, wasn't it?! And it got such shitty reviews when it first came out. Man, some folks just don't know. Not every story has to be epic. Sometimes it's enough that it's just plain FUN.

Wait a sec... I just went back and reread something. "Break in character"? Is it, really? Or rather, will it be? Are we going to witness something that's out of character or just atypical for said character? Are we going to get a private, intimate glimpse of this individual, or is this a switching of gears?

*setup for a Monty Python reference* And now for something Completely Different!

Maybe it's like Marvel Comics' "What If..." series? I'm asking so that I have proper context for what I read on Monday. Do you think I'll need it, or will this installment have the include the Clue suppliment?

Heehee. It's a private, intimate glimpse, more or less. Not a Correction, just an ordinary moment... well, perhaps an extraordinary one, but not on duty. :)

You have read the Aphorisms... it will explain itself, easily. I'm noticing there's a symmetry between the two in terms of events, like how both of them met the Exception. This is just another one of those. :)

Aww... The Fifth Element wasn't epic? I thought it was grand and sweeping in scope and beautiful... and yes, fun, fun, definitely fun. But I don't know why people wouldn't like it. :)

One of the trailers I remember, and the subsequent reactions to the trailer, was that this was going to be the next Star Wars. That wasn't a review, it was the advertisers saying that. I think what they meant was that they expected 5th Element to find the same place in our hearts, not that it would rival Star Wars. I think it made most folks defensive, and then very critical.

I'm sure that no one meant for these two movies to compete, but I think that's how that statement was perceived. Pity.
