Wow. I am... wow, overwhelmed by the responses to "Cutting," both public and back-channel. I am honored by your trust and your stories! I think we're in need of something light-hearted, though, so tomorrow you get an extra. After that I'll take second-call donations to sponsor the first illustration and the next batch of stories.

Meanwhile, I'm still chewing through printer sample papers. My newest box bears the marketing tagline: "Premium archival fine art and photographic digital papers wrapped in the intimacy and value of a rural culture." It's got a nice picture of a desert on the front. I laughed until my sides hurt at the look on elusivetiger's face when I showed it to him.


This week's goals: try to finish the last illustration for the Aphorisms. Post another story. Research color correction software (*sigh*). Not injure myself in a way that make it impossible for me to go to practice again. And try to get through this box of sample paper so I can post that sale. We'll see how far I get.
