Pathen and Keshul. Keshul’s the one on the right, of course, with all the hair. Check out Pathen’s fancy clothes. Laisira’s tailors made them. >.>
Hesa and Dekashin (who’s holding the rikka on the right). I actually got Hesa’s body down… it really is lithe and solid like that. But Pathen and I both miss the mane, which got chopped off. Is that a spoiler? Does a spoiler about hair matter? -_-
I realized for years I’ve been writing about Jahir and Vasiht’h and their work on Starbase Veta, but I’ve never bothered to figure out what their apartment/office looks like. So here is a very messy floor plan! It is correct, except that I’m not sure if it’s flipped or not (which would put the bedroom on the left). But no, I’m pretty sure this is it. Clients walk in the door, turn right and go into the office area.
I also realized I have no recent art of the two of them, so here’s one from “The Tree,” with them sitting together in the common room. I am glad to see that despite not having drawn anything more strenuous than a cartoon in the past half-year I haven’t forgotten how to draw people. :,
Actually, weirdly, I think not drawing people for half a year has made me better at it. o_O
Oh, the number of discussions I had about saddlebags for Vasiht’h…
Finally, a partly-completed picture from the first holiday case story, The Snow Maiden. Vasiht’h, Nisia (isn’t she adorable?) and Jahir behind them. Relative heights are correct, though Jahir is a few steps behind them: it should go a little over 4’5″, a little over 5’5″ and then around 6’5″-ish or so. I think. Jahir might be a touch shorter than that but I’ve never gotten him to hold still next to some of the other Eldritch so I could get a rough estimate of who’s tallest (I think that’s Hirianthial).
